General Election 2008 Information

**UPDATE**
EARLY VOTING HOURS HAVE BEEN EXTENDED BY ORDER OF CHARLIE CRIST. NEW EARLY VOTING HOURS FOR LAFAYETTE COUNTY ARE 7 A.M. TO 7 P.M. WED-SAT. THE SUPERVISOR OF ELECTIONS OFFICE WILL NOT BE EARLY VOTING ON SUNDAY, NOV. 2.
The General Election will be held November 4th 2008. For information on the contests on the ballot please click here.
Early Voting will be held for a period of two weeks before the election starting on October 20th and ending on November 1st before election day.
The Election Office will be open for Early Voting from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
Absentee ballots can be requested up to and during election day and must be received by 7 PM on Nov. 4, election day.
Please remember, all voters are required to show photo identification prior to voting or vote a provisional ballot.
